The only candidate who can field dress a moose

This is what I do every morning. Go on Santa Fe craigslist.

I started The Memory Keeper's Daughter. I'm not totally into it yet. You can tell it's written by a woman. It's in third person, but the doctor is so described as a woman would want him to be. And the women characters are strong and clear-eyed and attractive. I don't know how to explain it. They aren't flawless, but all their flaws are attractive flaws. Plus, reading about down's syndrome just makes me think of Sarah Palin, who I'm scared of because I'm realizing she has a better chance than I thought.

that place seems perfect except for the 10 minutes from town part. i assume that means 10 minutes driving, and i can't drive. i wonder how long it takes to walk.

also, though the rent looks so cheap by new york standards, how does one make any money out there?

Wow. Beautiful house. Get a telecommuting job paying NYC wages, or get an advance, or....You might want a Netflix account out there in the desert, though.

i read that book and i liked it. well, when i say i liked it i mean i didn't completely hate it. lately i've been more into liking things than hating things, if you know what i mean.

this is the worst review of a book ever. sorry about that!

Keep your head up, Leigh. We're gonna take this thing. That woman'll be back to working for an Independent Alaska before we see the first snowfall here in the city. Fingers crossed.
