disclaimer: i haven't had any coffee yet this morning

Ditmas Park, you look so beautiful covered in snow, I love you.

The crowning achievement of my teaching this semester has been teaching my five-year-olds the phrase "ladies who lunch." Every time we improvise a story that's who they want to play.

This afternoon in musical theater, we're going to watch "I'm the Greatest Star" from Funny Girl. I can't wait.

I saw The Seagull last night and Cheryl and I sobbed and held each other. Kristin Scott Thomas was just as good as everyone said, remarkable.

Yes, alliteration and food both hold powerful sway over five-year-olds. Next semester: dudes who dine. Maybe even dudes who dine in Ditmas.
