I'm writing a poem using dialogue from every episode of The Bachelor that I watch, thereby making my Bachelor-watching part of my "art."
In February, I'll be going to DC for AWP, taking four classes at Brooklyn College, working three jobs, putting up a show of short plays with my Sheepshead Bay kids, going to Kansas City for a funeral, and hosting Poets & Puppets.
One nice thing about emotional numbness is a steady level of productivity, uninterrupted by feelings like stress, frustration, or anxiety. One not-so-nice thing is the lack of nostalgia. I miss nostalgia.
